We’ll pick you up at Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix and you’ll begin your trip in Sedona, voted the most beautiful place in America by the USA Today travel editors. From this magnificent region we go north into the backcountry of Northern Arizona and Southern Utah. Whether you are a beginner with a new digital camera, or a seasoned pro, the scenery will take your breath away and the photographs will last a lifetime! All accommodations and lunches are included and your guide will be a photography instructor, so that you can learn as much as you’d like in surroundings that will develop lifelong skills. Some guests leave their cameras at home, and just enjoy the beautiful southwest scenery.
Lunches, transportation and hotel/motel rooms are customized to your specific needs and budget. We can also provide care and travel to those with special physical requirements. We will do everything to take you to your areas of interest. Most of our excursions are day trips based out of motels in the local area that have been selected for their cleanliness and proximity to various places of interest. All trips can be expanded from very short hikes and drive-up overlooks to daypack hikes taking several hours or more.
Other fantastic places we visit are Arches National Park, Canyonlands National Park, the Painted Desert and Petrified Forest National Park, the three Hopi mesas, including the villages of Walpi and Oraibi,* Canyon De Chelly, Chaco Canyon, Natural Bridges as well as many Native American ruins and petroglyph sites.
